Since the introduction of the Nimble Nomad, both owners and prospective buyers have expressed a desire for a larger vessel with an alternative hull design. Responding to this feedback, Nimble Boat Works has developed the Nimble 29—a longer boat featuring a modified hull shape that enhances comfort in rougher seas.
The Nimble 29's cabin interior has been extended by two feet, offering increased space and numerous possibilities for interior modifications. The aft cockpit has also been lengthened by two feet, providing ample room for comfortable deck chairs and lounges. Additionally, a hull shape modification is available to further improve the ride of the Nimble 29 in rougher seas.
These enhancements make the Nimble 29 a versatile choice for both inland and coastal cruising, catering to those seeking a balance between size, comfort, and performance.
The Wanderer represents the closest blend of traditional quality and craftsmanship from bygone times with the best features of today's technology and materials.
She was designed with the mature boat owner in mind—an individual who values traditional aesthetics, quality craftsmanship, unique form, and simplicity over high-speed performance, high-maintenance requirements, uncomfortable amenities, and the feeling of being unsupported once the boat leaves the factory.
While the perfect boat exists only in the mind's eye, if you find a boat that is trailerable, exceptionally tough, constructed with imported coring between layers of fiberglass; designed by a well-known and respected designer such as Ted Brewer; built by a team of craftsmen who care about your opinion of their work; and offered by a company whose previous owner, Jerry Koch, insists that you participate in the final design phase of your boat—then you may have found the Nimble Nomad.
The pilothouse of the Ted Brewer-designed Nimble KODIAK sets this boat apart from any other production boat currently on the market. The KODIAK features a pilothouse that is 6 feet 7 inches long with a headroom of 6 feet 5 inches. It includes a Nimble exclusive—a folding chart table that converts into a fully standing private head with an optional shower, all within 20 seconds. An area for storing foul weather gear is also provided. Depending on your area of use, you may select a marine head or a standard M.S.D.
